Alright everyone, listen up this is your Sheriff speaking....

First I'd like to start out by directing your attention to the "Members & Staff" link at the top menu. As you'll notice some very deserving, long time members have been promoted to new ranks.

We have:

Rusty Nail as Sheriff, because I've been chosen to uphold the law (rules) and now have the ability to ban people not only in the server, but here as well. (excluded from the above mentioned deserving members comment)

Nasoex as Ban Manager, which makes him able to moderate the forum, and also unban players on the servers.

Cursed as Border Patrol
N@rcotic as Border Patrol, which gives them special moderator abilities on the forum. They are also now in charge of the New Application Polls area of the forum for setting up polls, approving and denying membership applications, and locking/unlocking topics in all areas of the forum.

Server Admins-
For those who purchase admin on our servers, they will be automatically assigned to a group designated for the server of their choice. Examples, Assault, Assault Maps, ETC. This will give them an admin only area to post any concerns, or chat with other admins in private.

Last but not least on the list here is Joe, whose been slaving over this site every day to make it better than it already is. I say don't mess with perfection, but somehow he always finds a way.

As you can see, our membership is growing, both in forum users and new sU members! I'd like to take this time to remind everyone that every new applicant has a 3-day voting period to give current members a chance to vote and have their voice heard. Please check back often, as new polls are going up almost daily!

We've also had a current increase in members and ex-members starting their own servers and advertising on our forum. Remember, that advertising in this manner will result in a permanent ban. By now I'm sure everyone is aware of the rules, but if not I would suggest getting acquainted with them. To ensure less issues in the future, PLEASE remember that sU does not allow "double tagging" so when you are applying to join, you should not be running your own servers, be a part of another community/clan, or be tagging with another server.

In the last few days, Joe has also taken the initiative to set up a bhop server for us. Please note that it is a work in progress, but it is located at the following IP: 74.91.121.227:27017.

Just to let you slackers know... Joe's son Kobe was born tonight at 8:50PM!!

Let me start this out by saying that I regret to inform you that OneTime is no longer with us as an sU member and admin. A staff member caught him using hacks on our server and he has been removed from member/admin and permanently banned.

I'd like to take this time to make something clear to everyone:

Anyone caught hacking on our servers will be permanently banned. Anyone who is an sU member, admin, staff, etc who is caught hacking will be removed from their position and permanently banned. We do not allow hackers on our servers, nor do we give second chances when it comes to hacking.

The ONLY time someone who is banned for hacking may be unbanned is if the banned player appeals the ban and there is no demo provided, or there is insufficient evidence on a demo. The sU admins and staff strive to keep the servers a clean and fun place to play.

Lastly, if you are not an sU member but would like to help catch hackers and would like to have Admin ESP (an admin tool for catching wall hackers) please post in the report a player section in the pinned topic and request it. I will be more than happy to set it up for you.
